Its almost Halloween...I love this holiday. so I thought i'd post my pumpkins that I have carved over the past couple of years.

Happy Halloween

I live for this day

So my favorite time of year is now! I love fall. I love everything fall. I love fall jackets, leaves, apple cider (anything), pumpkins, Halloween, pumpkin pie, apple pie. It literally makes me want to skip when this time of year comes along. Unfortunately i'm crazed and have been so busy and haven't enjoyed it very much. stuck in doors making my fingers bleed. siigh....
but. Last Sunday.....we went pumpkin picking. This is the highlight of my year. I fucking love it. So here are our adventures at Kuipers Family Farm,

Somehow i'm still moving

Okay so here is whats been going on. This Saturday started Dirty Installation for my show. I was there Saturday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ. I'm so tired. haha. but I am very happy with how its turning out. I am however sick of looking at the inside of that gallery and just want to be lazy. (sooon....) So Clean Installation starts today. which means no more "messy" stuff. which I thankfully finished yesterday! yay! Here is a time line from each day

 Saturday-Day 1

Painted Walls and started taping off floor board to paint

 Monday- Day 2

Painted floor board white and started taping off floor board detail and painted light switch and electrical outlet boxes

 Tuesday Day 3 

Finished floor board, got a table, painted light switch and electrical outlet, started floor.

Wednesday Day 4 

Finished floor (almost), Painted found lamp, Cleaned goo off floor, hung curtain rods.

Just so you know, the color of the wall has not changed....I just had more lighting added to the installation and it warmed up the color. Now I have to finish the final mountings of my pieces, cut and sew curtain, make a choice on the floor. then I will be DONE...and Luke can finally have me back.

I have slacked on the rest of my life and for that I suck. Tonight I am finishing our Halloween costumes (Luke's is awesome...mine not so much) I need a vacation after this. I would love to fly to WDW for the week after the show so I can just be happy. NOT going to happy.

33 S State street Floor 7. Opening October 29 6-8pm. Then the show is up for about a month.

I wish I could buy energy

Well i'm posting so.....it must be Thursday. These weeks are zooming by.....and its making me super nervous! It will be fine. Tomorrow is the mandatory meeting for BFA and forms to be in. Then I start set up on Saturday. I will hopefully remember to take lots of picture of how its coming along (note to self....) Started Halloween costumes...hopefully they will get done tonight. We are being Jen and Kira from Dark Crystal....now we just need to find a party or something! haha...

the dog like pet she had is Fizzgig.....and thanks to my wonderful husband I received a plush of him for Christmas last year so we are all set!!!

Final. it is now in a show at the library.

Luke reminded me that we are in fact going to Disney soon! 7 months...i'm such a snob...but I can't wait I want to go NOW!

Also....we still have yet to see any of our photoshoot pictures.....COME ON. he said 2 weeks preview....we are almost on a month?! wtf....I have no patience. sigh....


This weekend we are going pumpkin picking. There are no words for how excited I am......I love this time of year and we got to Kuipers Family Farm. http://www.kuipersfamilyfarm.com/ Love it too excited! Just have to get through Saturday. Yay.

I love the muppets

So last Sunday me and Luke went to the Museum of Science and Industry to check out Jim Henson's Fantastic World. We had seen it before but i'm obsessed....we went again. We are also being Jen and Kira from Dark Crystal for Halloween this year....so we needed to check it out. You can't take photos in the exhibit but here are some from the rest of the museum. Its awesome I love it....and it makes me happy

BFA you stress me out

Hello....I know I know....I'm SO beyond. sigh..

I got my space for the BFA show. I think it will work well.

Or I hope it will haha...I'm on a mad search for frames....(not sure if i'm framing yet) Mat board (only if I frame) Carpet or flooring, a tall lamp, Oops paint (in the right colors of course!), table or nightstand of some sort. We will see. I have like NO time. I still need to finish 1 embroidered Polaroid, 2 weaved Polaroids, finish and put wood on 2 weavings. Oh yeah and of course do the whole installation...which may include hand painted moldings and boarder...we will see.

This weekend I will be searching for flooring, paint and molding.

I am trying not to freak out. Everything must be done, installed and perfect by October 24. omg i'm going to cry.

So......I had to make this book for my Artist book class. We are learning how to make lots of books but this is the first time we had to have content. We also had to make an edition. So this is 1/21. Here was my book
